She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Oxford and Della Oxford; her husband Lonnie Mitchell Jr.; her children, Brenda Corley and Tommy Mitchell; her siblings, Novella, Lorraine, Florene, Jewel, Junior and Eldon; and her grandchildren, James and Rebecca.
She is survived by: her children, Lonnie Mitchell (Ingrid) and Linda Ragland (Joe); her sisters, Charlene Deshazo and Nadine Edmonds; and her grandchildren, Alana Gilliam and Robert Dye. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
