With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Jones of Alma, Arkansas, born in Monticello, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 21, 2024 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Houston and Ouida Geraldine Loveless Jones; his grandparents, Benjamin Arthur "Trigger" and Virgie Hickman Loveless; his wife Donna Powers Jones; and his brothers-in-law, Robert, Ralph, Joseph Powers and Norman Chadwick.
He is survived by: his friends, Friendliest, Wittiest and Congeniality; his children, Melissa Belur (Satya) of San Jose, Derek Jones (Andrea) of Tampa and Jennifer Jones of Alma; his grandsons, Logan Jones, Braden Key, Kiran, Aidan Belur and Tiago Jones; his sisters, Susie Chadwick and Edna Carpenter; his siblings-in-law, Ada Powers (Jim Muncher) and James Powers (Virginia); and his grandsons, Shane and Zach Goettel. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
