He was predeceased by: his parents, Stratton Philas Douglas and Edna Mae Douglas (Meadors); and his siblings, JD, Dick, Ralph, Mary Katherine, Jo Ann, Ruby and Grace.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Carolyn Gray (Babe); his children, Nanci Nikstad (Gene) and John (Cheryl); and his grandchildren, Austin, Erik Nikstad, Anna O'Shea (Nikstad), Ian, Mason and Pierce Douglas. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, and Great Nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Trinity Baptist Church, 5020 N. Hwy 71, Alma, AR 72921.
