With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Joe Cogburn (Alma, Arkansas), who passed away on June 6, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Jess Otha; his brother Otha Gene Cogburn; and his nephew Bobby Whitaker. He is survived by: his wife Corette Cogburn; his children, Angie Morrison (Bradley) of Rudy, Brenda Scott of Bay City, TX, Kenny Pixley of Rudy and Billy Cogburn, Jr.; his brothers, Bobby E. Cogburn of Mt. Home, AR and Thomas Cogburn (Dorothy) of Boyce, LA; and his granddaughter Sophie Morrison. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many friends.
