He is survived by: his wife Sherry Carter (Sindle); his children, Marty Mason (Marsha) of Mulberry, AR, Elizabeth DeWater (Mark) of Mulberry, AR and Sara McCall (Harlo) of Alma, AR; his grandchildren, Aubrey Smith, Logan Mason, Holland Mason, Gwynne Mason, Marinna Mason, Everly Mason, Vivia Mason, Mason DeWater, Colin DeWater, Rachel DeWater, Kylee Lineberry, Marti Lineberry, Lucas Yates, Tristan and Weston McCall; his great grandchildren, Lincoln Smith and Sagely Smith; and his siblings, Diana Burge and Mike Carter.
