He was predeceased by: his parents, Holland Brown and Margaret Brown (Abercrombie); his wife Georgia Brown (Cox); his children, Michael Brown and Terri Hicks; and his siblings, James Brown and Ethel Thrift.

He is survived by: his son Robert Brown (Teresa) of Fort Smith, AR. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
