He is survived by: his wife Darlene Altenbaumer of Alleene, AR; his children, Terry Wayne Altenbaumer of Houston, TX, Michael Edward Altenbaumer of Texarkana, TX and Phyllis Tabler of Ashdown, AR; his sister Yvonne Chewning of Alabama; and his grandchildren, Lindsay Ganzalez, Lauren Altenbaumer, John Altenbaumer, Joshua Altenbaumer, Matthew Tabler, Taylor Bishop and Grant Bishop.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Madden Funeral Home - Ashdown (371 N 3rd St, Ashdown, AR 71822). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Winthrop Baptist Church. A burial was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at the Alleene Cemetery (244 Lr 133, Foreman, AR 71820).
