She is survived by: her sister Lena "June" Ross; her son Eric; her granddaughter Cleo Townsend; and her nephews, Boyd Ross, Glen Ross and Wayne Ross (Jean). She is also survived by brothers than nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Jean would prefer contributions be made to Immanuel Baptist Church.
