We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2022, at the age of 90, Elaine Margaret Merrell of Alexander, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George B. Nielsen and Alicia Nielsen; her husband John H. Merrell; and her siblings, Janet McDougall, James Nielsen and Gerald Nielsen.
She is survived by: her daughter Elaine McCaleb (Brad) of Alexander; her grandchildren, Ben McCaleb (Cynthia), Josh McCaleb (Christa), Chris McCaleb, Rachel McCaleb, Noah McCaleb and Sarah McCaleb; her great grandchildren, Isaiah McCaleb, Finley McCaleb and Fallyn McCaleb; and her sisters, Doris Nielsen of Staten Island, NY and Phyllis Garrett of Everett, WA. She is also survived by several in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude's Hospital or Shriners Hospital.
