She was predeceased by: her father Donelson Flynn Pitts, Sr.; and her siblings, Donelson Flynn Pitts, Jr. (Mattie) and Rose Pitts. She is survived by: her husband Donald Lee Elrod of Alexander; her children, Douglas Elrod (Diana) of Denton, Texas and Donna Elrod (Kristen) of Little Rock, Arkansas; her sister Linda Kitchen (Harry) of Highland Village, Texas; her grandson Alex Garland (Jessica) of Seattle, Washington; her sister-in-law Peggy Bengtson of Bryant; her pet Trixie Blue; and also, John and Evelyn Cathcart. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
