She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Hitt and Irene Hitt; her husband Cecil Harvell; and her brother Bill Hitt of Oxford, MS.. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Mary Helen Hitt of Oxford, MS.; her nieces, Sandra Hitt Perkins (Lawrence) of Tupelo, MS and Helen Hitt Phillips of Oxford, MS.; her nephew Bill Hitt (Lori) of Pontotoc, MS; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Mary Clift Abdalla, Collier Phillips and Drew Phillips.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Livingston Presbyterian Church at 105 North Washington Street, Livingston, AL 35470 or the York City Cemetery Fund at P.O. Box 96 York, AL 36925.
