It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Lorraine Locke Rumley of York, Alabama, born in Selma, Alabama, who passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Burke "Charlie" Rumley, Sr.; and her parents, Judson Cleveland and Lilly Etoile Tucker Locke. She is survived by: her son Charles B. Rumley, Jr. (Bobbie); her grandsons, Trey Rumley (Ellie Armani), Drew Rumley, Joshua Lard (Carrie) and Dylan Lard (Hannah); and her great grandchildren, Alex Campbell, Abby Campbell, Macie Lard and Layla Lard.
The family kindly request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
