He was predeceased by: his daughter Bianca Lawson; and his close friend Katie Scott. He is survived by: his daughter Tyanna; his siblings, Tressie Jackson (Freddie Brown) and Larry Patman; his nephew Jeremiah Jackson of Detroit, Michigan; and his aunts and uncles, Annie Lightfoot, Deloris Joseph, Charles McCoy of Alabama, Carolina Sims of Ohio, Herman McCoy (Doris) of Michigan and Carolyn Lawson. He is also survived by the mother of his children, all of York, Alabama; many friends, cousins, and relatives.
