She was predeceased by: her parents, Velma Esther Kiker Lancaster and John Robert Lancaster, Jr.; her husband Vernon H. Tew; her children, John Paul Tew and Julie Ann Towberman; and her siblings, Chris Lancaster and Jeanette Lancaster.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Faye Tew Lamalie (Mark) of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; her sisters, Mary Jewel Lancaster Rumley of York and Mildred Annette Lancaster Simmons of Mobile; her sister-in-law Ruth Tew of York; her grandchildren, LaFawnda Wright, Courtney Wright, Brandy Wedgworth, Carl Radcliffe, Justin Radcliffe and Mary Fayth Radcliffe; and her nieces and nephews, Chad Tew, Christopher Lancaster, John Lancaster, Alan Rumley, Jeff Simmons, Judy Phillips and Shirley Bowers. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
