He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Mitchell and Fannie Mitchell; his son Ronald Neff; and his grandchild Devin Neff. He is survived by: his wife Betty; and his sons, Bobby Neff (Connie), Timmy Neff (Mary) and Stephen Neff. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
