He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Anderson Jones; his parents, Myrtle Jones and Earnest Jones; his daughter Sherriel Childress; his grandson Mickey Childress; and his sister Pauline Lawing.
He is survived by: his daughters, Anita Wilder (Danny), Darlene Ayers (Jerry), Glenda Foster (Mike) and Teresa Troup (Ronnie); his niece Peggy O'Reagan (Jim); and his nephews, Ron Walls, Dickie Walls (Shelly) and Bryan Walls (Diane). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren, and many friends.
