We are sad to announce that on November 20, 2024, George Potter of Woodville, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Potter and Ruby Potter; and his siblings, Willene Dodson (George), Joyce Sanders (L. P.), Inez Potter, Walter, Jr. and Albert Potter.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva Potter; his son Dennis Potter (Beth); his grandchildren, Hannah Durham, Coral Wesley (Jalen), Braden Taylor and Kenadi Aericko; his great grandchildren, Jetzyn Wesley, Aspyn Wesley and Coven Durham; and his siblings, Veda Sanders (Erby), Pauline Sanders (Johnny) and William Potter (Clara). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home - Scottsboro (674 Snodgrass Rd, Scottsboro, AL 35769). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
