He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bobby Joe Pruitt and Kathleen Woods; his son Matthew Pruitt (Nikki) of Paint Rock, AL; his grandchildren, JJ, Tanner and Katlyn; his daughter Ashley Pruitt of Paint Rock, AL; and his sisters, Elaine Bailey (Dan) of Huntsville, AL, Betty Johnson (Danny) of Fayetteville, TN and Rosemary Pyrkowski of Logansport, Indiana..

Because of Covid-19 restrictions, the family will be having a private service.
