She is survived by: her children, Karen Strachan (Jonny) of Tuscaloosa and James Coy Alford (Amanda); her brother Jerry Poole (Darlene) of Deatsville; her grandchildren, Matthew Strachan (Kindra) of Norfolk, VA, Kaitlyn Cowan (Jay) of Foley, Mason Strachan, Kaylee Strachan of Tuscaloosa, Macie Johns (Seth Ballinger) of Woodstock, Noah Johns and Elizabeth Alford of Woodstock; her friends, Mona Piper and Lynda Newell; and her nephew Jason Poole. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, in-laws.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory to Hospice of West Alabama or Masters Kitchen c/o First Baptist Church Woodstock, AL.
