He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta Battle. He is survived by: his children, Lynn Brown of Odenville, AL, Larry Battle (Cissy) of Woodstock, AL, Lisa Brunette of Tuscaloosa, AL and Linda Rice (Fred) of Chelsea, AL. He is also survived by six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a host of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
