He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Owen and Lema Ferguson Owen; his wife Betty Lipham Owen; his son-in-law Terrell Lambert; and his siblings, Cecil Owen, Mike Owen and Janice Bain.
He is survived by: his children, Angie Lambert of Woodland and Kevin Owen (Beth) of Woodland; his grandchildren, Wesley Moore (Kayla), Baylee Owen and Bradley Owen; and his siblings, Claudene Nobley of Roanoke and Robert Owen (Juanita) of Carrollton, GA.. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either the Alzheimer's Association or to the American Heart Association.
