She was predeceased by: her husband Danny Mitchell. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Knight (Kyle) of Wadley and Michael Manning (Nikki) of Woodland; her brothers, Don Butler of Valley and Carl Britt of Roanoke; and her parents, Ben Britt and Nina Butler Britt. She is also survived by five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Home (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278). The lying in state was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Woodland First Congregational Methodist Church (12381 Co Rd 59, Woodland, AL 36280). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
