She was predeceased by: her parents, Wright E. Walker and Alie Mae Monk; her husband Ralph Deason; her daughter Deborah Deason; and her grandson Steven Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Moon (Luke) of Woodland, Tommie Farr (Randy) of Woodland, Paula Martin of Wedowee, Brenda Bell (Tye) of Lake Butler, FL, Curtis Deason (Christine) of Woodland and Steve Deason (Terri) of LaGrange, GA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren with one on the way; two great-great-grandchildren with one on the way; one brother; one sister; a host of nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law; and many loving friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Home (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Chapel (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278).
