He was predeceased by: his parents, McCarley McCarley and Wilma Herren McCarley. He is survived by: his wife Pat Wilson McCarley of Woodland; his son Todd McCarley (Sonya) of Holtville; his grandchildren, Abby McCarley Brown (Blake) and Clint McCarley (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Blayden Brown, Callen Brown, Ansley McCarley, Braylon Hammonds and Celestine Wilson; his sister Jane McCarley Adair of Talladega; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Wilson (Nancy) of Woodland and Emily Wilson of Woodland.

Memorials may be floral or the family suggests donations to Liberty Grove Congregational Methodist Church.
