He was predeceased by: his brother Tonie Smith; and his grandson Jeremiah Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Scott Smith of Woodland, Josh Smith of Woodland and Jarrett Smith of Nashville, TN; his sisters, Jeanette Richardson of LaGrange, GA, Pam Sheats of Franklin, GA and Kim Monroe of Macon, GA.; and his parents, Otis H. Smith and Annie Dunlap Smith. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Home (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Chapel (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278).
