It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Bonnie Wright of Woodland, Alabama, who passed away on February 1, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James Bonnie may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James Bonnie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bobby Ray Taylor, Clinton Ray Taylor and Peggy Harmon. He is survived by: his siblings, Annette Wright of Woodland, Linda McKee of Rock Mills, Eris King of Woodland, Danny Taylor of Woodland and Jerry Taylor of Heflin; and his mother Era Mildred Wright.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Home (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Benefied Funeral Chapel (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278).
