We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2024, Irene Bailey of Woodland, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Willie" Herren and Hattie Burgess Herren; her husband Arnold O. Bailey; her son Ricky Bailey; and her siblings, Pearl Johnson, Eunice Lewis, Rena Calhoun, Herman Herren and Wallace Herren.
She is survived by: her son Greg Bailey of Woodland; her granddaughter Adrianna Bailey Ayers (Zac) of Grantville, GA; her great grandchild Elsie Ayers; and her sister-in-law Maugene Herren of LaGrange, GA.. She is also survived by her family, especially her granddaughter and great-granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Benefied Funeral Home (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Flat Rock Methodist Church (Co Rd 477, Alabama 36280). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Flat Rock Methodist Church Cemetery (Co Rd 477, Alabama 36280).
