He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Freeman and Willie Shaw Freeman; his wife Carolyn Annette Johnson Freeman; and his siblings, Lonnie D. Freeman, Tom Freeman and Sue Freeman Whaley.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Hipps (Rick) of Moore, OK and Charles "Pete" Freeman (Teressa) of Cullman, AL; and his grandchildren, Patricia Freeman, Christopher Freeman, Kari Freeman, Tanya Billeaud, Michelle Billeaud and Bobbie Jo Hipps. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
