She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Bowen; her children, Michelle Vordenbaum (Terry) of Opelika, Teresa Dodson (Kenneth) of Woodland and Dell Sheppard (Stephanie) of Wedowee; her grandchildren, Charish Hayes (Dustin), Britteny Baker (Hunter), Destiny Daniels (Cody), Tyler Terrell (Kayla), Jacob Vordenbaum (Karmen) and Makayla Sheppard; her brother Jimmy Blackmon of Roanoke; and her parents, James Staples and Gladys Towler Staples. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
