It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Angeline Henley Van Houten (Wing, Alabama), who passed away on June 4, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Madelyn Palmer Elliott and Joseph Samford Henley; her former husband Phil Van Houten; her sons, George and Steven; her stepfather John Allen Elliott; her parents-in-law, Fern Hall, James Davis, Sarah Oegema and James H. Van Houten; her sisters, Belle, Wynette and Brenda; and her siblings-in-law, Charles, Ralph, Marcia and Maureen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joy (David) and Stacey; her daughters-in-law, Laurie and Vivian; her siblings, Ed, James, Dora, Janet, Sharon, Jenapher and Charlene; her siblings-in-law, Victor (Marilyn), James (Sylvia), Dorine (Douglas), Loraine and Patricia; and her grandchildren, Shawn, Phillip, Jamie, Donavan, Jonathan, Tracy, Dalynn, Josh (Carla), Katie (Jenn), Allison and Blake. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
