He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bud" Tidwell and Sarah "Jody" Plunkett; and his brother Paul Tidwell. He is survived by: his stepmother Patty Tidwell; his siblings, Tracie Long (Jeff), Stacy Jackson (Michael), Chris Tidwell, Nick Tidwell (Lindsey) and Kelvin Plunkett (Kimberly); and his sister-in-law Tina Tidwell Spiller (Ricky). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
