He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Scott and Peggy Sexton Sandlin; and his grandparents, Lucille Sexton, Louie Bryce Sandlin and Evelyn Tidwell Sandlin.
He is survived by: his wife Amy Smith Sandlin; his stepchildren, Cameron, Andrew Taylor and Santana Reeves (Daryl); his stepgrandchildren, Oakley, Jaxon, Hadley Jo, Drake and Rhett; his sisters, Melissa Stovall (Alan) and Kim Aldridge (Scott); his mother-in-law Patty Gann (Jerry); and his brother-in-law Alan Smith (Tonya). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
