It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oneeda Kirkley (Winfield, Alabama), born in Eldridge, Alabama, who passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Tucker and Minnie Dozier Tucker; her husband J. C. Kirkley; her son Jeffery Kirkley; her grandson Jonathan Kirkley; her siblings, Simon Tucker, Bud Tucker (LouNell), Freeman Tucker (Jennie Mae), Tommy Tucker, Nellie Critzer and Eulene Tidwell (Dank); and her brothers-in-law, Paul Davis and Billy Ray McCaleb.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Krystal Cox (Leslie); her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Logan, Rylee and Raegan Cox; her sisters, Bonnie Davis and Lovetta McCaleb; and her sister-in-law Ann Fowler (James). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
