We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Melissa Sandlin Stovall of Winfield, Alabama, born in Moline, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peggy Sexton Sandlin and Scotty; her brother Rob; her niece Katelyn Stovall; and her grandparents, Robert, Lucille Sexton, Louie Bryce Sandlin and Evelyn Sandlin.

She is survived by: her significant other Alan Stovall; her children, Hillary Smith (Chad) and Derek Stovall (Victoria Hankins); her grandchildren, Cailyn, Caralee and Colton Smith; her sister Kim Aldridge (Scott); her parents-in-law, Roger and Gloria Stovall; her siblings-in-law, Amy Darty and Kyle Stovall (Angie); her niece Harper Darty; and her nephews, Shane Darty (Sydney), Will, Ty Aldridge and Brant Stovall. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, church family and other special friends.
