We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2024, at the age of 102, Mary Dell Barker of Winfield, Alabama, born in Sulligent, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sim Bob and Jessie Holliday; her husband Chester Barker; her son Freddy Barker; and her siblings, Willie Grey McLemore, Tol and Brown Lee Holliday.

She is survived by: her son Gary Barker (Yvonne) of Winfield; her grandchildren, Chad Barker (Tonya) of Gulf Shores, Matthew Barker of Winfield, Todd Barker (Stacey) of Florence and Kristie Barker Schrader of Jacksonville, FL; her great grandchildren, Dylan, Haley Grace, Spencer, Piper Barker, Max, Eli and Vivian Schrader; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Tanner Shaw (Kelsey) of Florence, Conner Shaw of Florence and Hunter Shaw (Cassie) of Florence. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
