He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wendt and Frances Klingensmith Wendt; his wife Joyce Wendt; and his sisters, Pansy Aldridge and Lois Fields.
He is survived by: his children, Tony Wendt (Kimela) of Winfield, Christine Colburn (Ralph) of Northside and Kathie Warren; and his sisters, Eldora Marsengill and Marion Jacobs. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
