It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Imogene Rich Barnes (Winfield, Alabama), born in Brilliant, Alabama, who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Rich and Vera Mae Rich; her husband Clinton E. Barnes; her granddaughter Heather Hendrix; and her brother Gaylon Rich.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Barnes (Ann), Teresa Barnes Hendrix and David Barnes (Deloris); her grandchildren, Holly Hobbs (Ben), Dillon Barnes (Melissa), Courtney Barnes, Hunter Barnes, Brittney Laws (Austin), Justin Hendrix and Garrett Barnes; her great grandchildren, Bella Mae Laws, Blakelynn Laws, Brooke Barnes, Clyde Laws and Walker Barnes; and her sisters, Evelyn Sue Hosch and Loretta Dunavant (Danny).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church (6909 AL-253, Guin, AL 35563). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the Adjoining Cemetery.
