She was predeceased by: her parents, Olin Dickinson and Girleane Hawkins Dickinson; her husband Danny Lee Carter; and her daughter-in-law Sheila Carter. She is survived by: her children, William M. Carter, Sr. of Vinemont, Marty Carter (Michelle Collins) of Haleyville and Donna Carter of Guin; her grandchildren, Tammy Betts, Melissa Carter, William Carter, Jr., Tonya Greer, Hunter Carter and Natalie Carter; and her great grandchildren, Ashley Herring, Alexis Herring, Alicia Herring, Brittany Herring, Nathan Calloway, Abigail Boyles, Jacob Boyles, Tyler Girrado, Destiny Girrado and Eleanor Carter.
