With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Watkins of Winfield, Alabama, who passed away on December 22, 2020 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wives, Elizabeth Griffin and Jimmie Nell Smith; his parents, Crockett Watkins and Nellie Hickombottom Watkins; and his granddaughter Evelyn Jane Watkins.

He is survived by: his children, George Watkins, Jr., Marie Watkins and Joyce Griffin. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
