She was predeceased by: her parents, Wyman Smith and Ruby Sandlin Smith Jewell; her stepfather Howard Jewell; and her niece Regina Sims. She is survived by: her husband Robert May; her children, Allen May of Winfield, Jackie May of Winfield, Kathy Hartung of New Orleans and Robin Green (Jody) of Brilliant; her grandson Dylan Hartung of New Orleans; her brother Lynn Smith (Hilda) of Winfield; her niece Brittany Harris (Casey) of Winfield; her nephew Devin Smith (Hollie) of Winfield; and her sister Rhonda Jewell. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
