She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard McDonald and Ellena Blakney McDonald; her sisters, Gaynell Dunavant, Virgie Hosch, Mary Lou Porter and Lila Mae Barnes; and her husband Harold Ray Howell.

She is survived by: her sons, Terry Howell (Jeanie) and Jimmy Howell; and her grandchildren, Blake Howell and Anna Katherine Rogers. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
