He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Daowning and Patricia Shower Daowning. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Scroggins; his children, William Scroggins, Donovan Downing, Christopher Donaldson, Kassandra Courington, Miranda Downing, Ashlynn Downing, Jazmynn Downing and Brittany Mayo; and his sister Tanya Mendoza. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
