Dortha Jean Miles Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2025, at the age of 96, Dortha Jean Miles of Winfield, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas and Hattie Lou Ingle Weeks; her husband Olen Miles; her son Terry Miles; her granddaughter Danielle Miles; and her great grandchild Skylar Wallace.
She is survived by: her children, Kayron Silas (Rebel), Gregg Miles (Terri) and Scott Miles (Cindy); her grandchildren, Heather Silas, Chanda Bartlett (Joel), Jessica Miles, Adam Miles (Mallory), Landon Miles (Megan), Jared Miles (Hillary), Alyssa Webb (David) and Caleb Miles (Victoria); and her great grandchildren, Katelyn, Nate Royle, Ella Rose, Leida Kay, Izzy Mae, Silas Wayne Bartlett, Taylor, Tristen Wallace, Rigsby Cook, Carter, Asher, Harper, Emmy, Weston, Mary Elle, Madeline, William Miles, Sadie Ann, Shepherd Webb, Cooper and Maverick Miles. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Faith Church (161 Pike Rd, Winfield, AL 35594). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at the Northwest Alabama Memorial Gardens (3955 US-43, Guin, AL 35563).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made to Faith Church Building Fund or Faith Church Missions Fund at P.O. Box 1278 Winfield, AL 35594.
