She was predeceased by: her parents, J. D. Franks and Mary Lee McKay Franks; her husband Harold Cook; and her sister-in-law Judy Franks. She is survived by: her daughter Angela Sanders; her granddaughter Brandy Sanders; her brothers, Steve Franks (Diane) and Larry Franks; and her nephew Sam Franks. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Dee Ann was employed for many years with UAB Health Service Foundation until her retirement.
