She was predeceased by: her parents, Denvier Elon and Velma Housh Trimm; her husband Willie Carl Gilbert; and her sister Charlean Hocutt. She is survived by: her children, Tim Gilbert (Rita) of Florence, Susan Gilbert of Winfield, Janice Gilbert of Arab and Tina Galloway of Fayette; and her grandchildren, Zack Gilbert (Stephanie), Dee Aldridge (Dennis), Brooke Pollard Bunn, Hunter Randall (Caitlin), Sabrina Blackburn (John), Cricket Fortner (Casey), Crystal Gilreath (Chad) and Cal Simmons. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
