He is survived by: his wife Pam Cunningham; his children, Eddie Cunningham (Lisa), Tammy, Burkholder (Eric), Todd Cunningham (Susan), Kelly Gambrel (Lance) and John Cunningham; his stepchildren, Lana Thorpe, Josh Webster (Ashley) and Amy Smith (Nathan); his grandchildren, Cortney Heaston (Tony), Christy Plaugher (Scott), Carley Madaj (Wes), Danielle Brose (Matt), Katie Cunningham (James), Cody Cunningham (McKennah), Abby Cunningham, Kim Nugent (Todd), Kelly Welsh (Dave), Kirsten Cunningham (Shane), Blake Cunningham (Morgan), Jennifer Ryan (Chris), Anthony Alvis (Beth), Kyle Privett, Sean, Jennifer Duerre, Caleigh Cunningham, Gracie, Hannah, Audrie, Allie Dodd, Willow Thorpe, Ty Smith, Luke, Paxton Webster, Natalie, Isabella and John David Smith; and his daughter-in-law Kaitlyn Cunningham. He is also survived by 25 great grandchildren, cousins and other family members.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel (981 AL-253, Winfield, AL 35594). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at the West Alabama Memorial Gardens (3955 US-43, Guin, AL 35563).
