With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billie Jean Doss of Winfield, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 28, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Billie Jean leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Billie Jean may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Boss Whitehead and Elizabeth Tidwell Whitehead; her siblings, Ava Dean McCaleb, Jessie Nell Tidwell, Leon Whitehead and Randy Whitehead; her niece Sandra Clinton; and her daughter-in-law Sandy Doss.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Doss of Winfield, Heath Doss (Jennifer) of Berry and Trent Doss of Winfield; her brother Charles Whitehead of Morton, MS; and her pet Susie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family members.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the West Alabama Memorial Gardens (3955 US-43, Guin, AL 35563).
