It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Vickery of Winfield, Alabama, born in Marion, Alabama, who passed away on July 18, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bryan Marcum and Ollie Beasley Marcum; her husband Marshall Vickery; her daughter Kathy Vickery; and her siblings, Shirley Carpenter, Cleburn Marcum, Charles Marcum, Johnny Marcum and Thomas Marcum.
She is survived by: her sons, Tony Vickery (Gail) and Jerry Vickery; her grandchildren, Jerel Vickery, Mike Pickrell, Wil Vickery (Kortney), Travis Markham (Rachel), Lee Vickery, Kathy Stone and Jered Vickery; her great grandchildren, Braxton, Jace, Haley, Luke and Adison; and her brothers, Michael (Jaquana) and Kenneth. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family members.
