She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ferman and Ruby McDonald May; her husband Horace James; and her brother Wayne May. She is survived by: her daughter DeLena Langley (Thomas); her grandson Dalton Langley (Sarah); her sister-in-law Becky Hightower; her nieces and nephews, Brooke Pate (Shaun), Britney Biehn (Andrew), Angela Mitchel (Mark), Pam Archer (Joey), Tommy James (Cheryl) and Andy DeVany; and her cousin Gaynell Dunavant. She is also survived by great nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
