He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bethea and Cordelia Williams Bethea. He is survived by: his wife April Chastain Bethea; his son Gavin Parker Bethea; his brother Roderick Bethea (Sherry) of Mobile; and his sister-in-law Denise Almond (Dennis) of Montevallo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
